- What it targets: Dangling Modifiers or Wordiness.
- The Trick: If a sentence starts with a descriptive phrase followed by a comma (e.g., "Running to the store,..."), you must cross out everything in the middle and look at the first noun after the comma. It must be the thing doing the action. If it's the wrong noun, the answer is wrong.
